Transportation from Yenikapı Pier to the City Center
It is possible to reach different routes of Istanbul from Yenikapı fast ferry pier by using bus services, metro, tram and Marmaray.

Transportation to the City Center by Shuttle
There is a free shuttle service for those coming to İDO Yenikapı pier by Marmaray. These services provide two-way transportation between Marmaray and Yenikapı İDO. Continuous service is organized. When you get off at Marmaray and take the Üsküdar, Kabataş-Bağcılar metro, you can reach all directions. When you take the Yenikapı buses from these regions, you can get off at the Yenikapı İDO stop and reach the ferry. If you want to reach IDO ferries from the Anatolian side, you can get there by taking Beşiktaş or Yenikapı ferries from Kadıköy, Üsküdar and Bostancı piers.
To travel on buses, you need to purchase an Istanbul Card. You can buy Istanbul Cards from kiosks, bus terminals and fill them from vending machines. Students are charged 1.15, full 2.30, and discounted Istanbul Cards are given to the elderly and disabled.
There is heavy traffic in Istanbul and when you want to go from Yenikapı to Beşiktaş or Taksim, you need to take at least 1 hour. You can travel even short distances in a very long time during work and school hours.

Transportation to the City Center by Metro

Transportation to the City Center by Tram
You can take the T4 tram from Sultançiftliği direction, get off at Topkapı, and take the M1B tram at the last stop in Yenikapı. Likewise, you can use the return route in both directions.
To get to the Anatolian side, you can take the Kabataş Tram, take any bus passing by the bus stops, and take the Üsküdar and Kadıköy ferries or motorboats from Beşiktaş pier.
You can reach Sarıyer district with 25E from Kabataş pier. You can reach Başakşehir district with Yenikapı M1B and M3 in Bağcılar square.
To reach the airport, you can take the metro number Yenikapı Airport M1A and you can take the metro to the inside of the airport.

Transportation to the City Center by Taxi
When you exit IDO pier, there is a taxi opposite the IETT stops on the left side of the road. You can reach anywhere you want by taxi, but since the traffic problem is serious, transportation should be preferred after 21:00 in the evening. Otherwise, you may have to pay too much. By taxi, you will pay around 25 TL to Beşiktaş. There is no night tariff for taxis and the cheapest taxi fare in Turkey is in Istanbul.
Transportation to Yenikapı by Metrobus
Those who want to reach Yenikapı by taking the metrobus from Beylikdüzü and Kadıköy Söğütlüçeşme directions can get off at Bahçelievler stop, take the metro and reach Yenikapı. Or you can get off at Cevizlibağ and reach Yenikapı by Cevizlibağ R2 buses.
Transportation to the City Center by Ferry
You can reach Üsküdar center by taking Marmaray shuttles from Yenikapı pier. Or you can reach Kadıköy and Bostancı regions from Bakırköy - Kadıköy - Bostancı line in Yenikapı.
Transportation to the City Center by Private Vehicle
Since there is no single center in Istanbul, it is possible to reach different routes by private vehicle. When you follow the Kennedy Street route in Yenikapı with a private vehicle, you can go to Eminönü, Karaköy, Beşiktaş, Ortaköy, Bebek, Emirgan, Tarabya and Sarıyer from the coastal road.
Again, if you go to Beşiktaş from Kennedy Street and follow the other road instead of the coastal road, you can go to Mecidiyeköy via Zincirlikuyu or you can go to the Anatolian side by following the bridge road.
From Yenikapı, you can follow Atatürk Boulevard and go to Beyoğlu and Mecidiyeköy via the Galata Bridge.
From Yenikapı, you can follow Namık Kemal Street, connect to E5 via Adnan Menderes Boulevard and go towards Küçükçekmece, Avcılar, Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt.
