About Taipei

If you visit Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, you will be greeted by a city where motorcycles, skyscrapers and ancient temples are a cultural and financial center. While Taiwan's capital has reaped the financial reward of transitioning to democracy after separating from the mainland in 1949, it is also one of the most prosperous and thriving cities in Asia.
