Most people say «Paris!» when planning a trip to France. But when we look to the south, Nice is a city with a Mediterranean climate in France, located in the Provence region, with a rich local culture, high-end cuisine and celebrating historical events with festivals. Founded in 350 BC, the city of Nice has become France's second most popular tourist destination in the last century, and visitors see locals embracing their past. Visit Nice and see why this place has been favored by artists and aristocrats for centuries. Check out the travel guide when planning a vacation to Nice, France

Like most Mediterranean cities, Nice experiences warm weather almost all year round. Average temperatures are 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months and 40 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter months. Spring is generally the best time to visit Nice and the Cote d'Azur because most of the time is spent in the local gardens. By the way, we do not recommend visiting this French city in the beginning of autumn and October because it usually rains in these months. Travels in late spring and early summer are the ideal times to enjoy Nice.
