FlyAway Bus is operated by LAWA and provides non-stop line bus service between LAX and Central Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley (Van Nuys), West Los Angeles (Westwood), Hollywood and Santa Monica. IrvineFlyAway closed on August 31, 2012. This line buses stop at every terminal. Service hours vary depending on the line. All lines use the local High Occupancy Vehicle system lane to speed up travel. Los Angeles Union Station service and Metro Local's night line 40 are the only direct transportation connecting Los Angeles Center and the airport.Subway line
Ring bus “G” provides a free connection to the Aviation/LAX station on the Los Angeles Metro Rail's Green Line. The taxis are operated by nine authorized companies and include Authorized Taxicab Supervision Inc. It is also issued by (ATS). ATS also operates the 96th Street Bridge, which is the taxi stop.
