Bus
The Metropolitan Transit Authority, or METRO, of Harris County, Texas, offers bus service on the south side of Terminal C. 102 Bush IAH Express provides transportation to the airport. Formerly called Airport Direct, METRO was traveling to downtown Houston via Terminal C via the HOV lane of the Eastex Freeway (I-69)/(US 59) starting in the summer of 2008. In 2010, to increase turnover and passenger numbers, METRO reduced the fare for Airport Direct and removed the passenger building in the city centre, instead the bus stops at a few hotels in the city centre.
