Best Time to Travel

Since July and August can be very hot and humid, the best time to visit is the beginning of summer (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) when the weather is nice and warm.

Barcelona Transportation

Barcelona has a great public transport network. For $11 you can buy a T10 ticket for 10 one-way trips, available from all ticket machines. Alternatively, if you buy an individual roundtrip or return ticket, this will cost you $2.30. Tickets are issued by TMB, Renfe and FGC It is valid on all operated metros, buses, trains and trams. Barcelona is also a cheap, hassle-free and easy to find place.

Things to Know Before You Go

Meal times in Spain can be confusing. Restaurants are generally open for lunch from 13:30 to 16:00 and for dinner from 20:30 to 23:00. Many shops are open until 14:00, as well as on Sundays and public holidays. It is closed for lunch and sleep between 00-17:00.
