Urfa Cesur Turizm, which was founded in 1947 by Recep Cesur with its headquarters in Urfa, organized mutual trips only between the cities of Urfa and Diyarbakır until 1956. Urfa Cesur Turizm, which increased the number of trips after the construction of the Birecik Bridge, was taken over by Halil Eryavuz and Mehmet İpekçioğlu, cousins of Recep Cesur, in 1964. The company, which started flights to Istanbul as of this year, continues its activities.
