About Kırıkkale

Kırıkkale is an industrial city with a public emphasis. The economic structures of its districts and rural areas are entirely based on agriculture. A total of 21 flat settlements and mounds were identified in the research carried out in Kırıkkale and its districts and villages between 1990 and 1991. As a result of the evaluation of the ceramic samples collected from these identified regions, the Neolithic Age and its aftermath in the areas outside the Kızılırmak curve of the province, and the Chalcotic Age, Ottoman and Seljuk culture, Hellenistic and Roman Ages, Phrygian Age, Hittite Empire Age following that period in the part remaining within Kızılırmak. Remnants of the Assyrian Trade Colonies Age and Old Bronze Age cultures have been identified.

Those who come to Kayseri are fascinated by Hasandede Mosque, Ceritkale Rock Tombs, Sulu Cave, Çeşnigir Bridge, Arms Industry Museum, Ballı Mosque and Tomb. You can feel what happened in the past in your bones in these places that bear the traces of history.
