About Karabük

It consists of the districts that come to mind when the Iron and Steel Factory is mentioned: Karabük, Ovacık, Eskipazar, Yenice, Safranbolu and Eflani.

Turkey's largest iron and steel factories are located here and Kardemir, the largest industrial enterprise, is also located here. It is known to have 68 percent forest abundance, but still have bad air due to factories.

The fact that the historical Safranbolu houses are at the forefront as a tourist attraction and the fact that no archaeological excavations have been carried out although there are many mounds in the region, has brought the city to the fore to be visited only for its natural beauties.

The natural views of the ancient city of Hadrianapolis, Safranbolu Hıdırlık Hill, Yörük Village and Eflani are quite impressive and are located in an economical and close area for those who enjoy nature trips.

Eğriova Pond, one of the most important areas in the region, also has a very nice appearance and can be visited with guides who know the environment well.
