About Ardahan

Ardahan, which is the northern part of Eastern Anatolia and a neighbor of the Black Sea, was separated from Kars province in 1992 and became a province. This city, which is our gateway to the Caucasus, draws our border with Georgia.

Although Ardahan, an undiscovered paradise, experiences intense migration due to unemployment, the fact that there is no industry other than 13 industrial establishments brings with it many problems. There are castles, Urartian artifacts and many ruins in the city of Ardahan. However, its plateaus and lakes attract more attention.

Ardahan, a city located at the foot of the mountains, has a unique natural view in every season. Local products and kashar cheese are very important in the region. For this reason, rather than industrialization, which is important for development, the sale of products obtained from agriculture and animal husbandry takes place.

It is very easy to reach this city by road and it is possible to find a bus from every city and reach it by watching the natural beauties. Transportation problem in Ardahan is a serious problem and there are constant problems due to the roads. Although the lack of road works resulted in public criticism, it is known that regulations are still not made.

However, it is a privilege for many tourists to visit this untouched city with its nature and everything.
