The provision for a 20 percent discount on the tariff for real and legal persons engaged in intercity bus transportation who prove that they are retired has been included in the regulation.
The provision that entered into force in the Official Gazette on May 31, 2024 is as follows:
To be implemented between the date this paragraph enters into force and 31/12/2024; For Turkish citizens who declare/prove their retirement with information or documents prepared in accordance with the relevant legislation, a 20% discount is applied on passenger tickets to be issued by B1 or D1 authorization certificate holders, based on the fare tariff notified/submitted to the Ministry in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 56. Authorization certificate holders who do not comply with this paragraph will be given a warning equal to the amount stated in the last sentence of the eleventh paragraph of Article 56 for each violation.”
