10. America's Stonehenge
Everyone can find several interesting tourist attractions throughout this region. A roadside oddity in Salem, New Hampshire includes 30 acres of stone structures and rock formations dating back 4,000 years. While who built these structures and why remains a matter of debate, it is said that the movements of ghosts shaped this area to make it their home. Many claim that some of the rocks in this area will become the spirits of Native Americans and other people.
9. Sterling Opera House
From music to lectures, the Sterling Opera House in Derby, Connecticut has hosted such notables as Bob Hope, Amelia Earhart, and Harry Houdini. Built in 1889, the building has nowadays showcased its array of ghosts, with one ghost being a young lad named Andy. These special spirits enjoy moving objects such as balls around this area. In 2011, this location was featured on television in the Ghost Hunters show.
8. Blood Cemetery
He claims that cemeteries are home to ghosts. Located in Hollis, New Hampshire, the cemetery's real name is Pine Hill. It didn't get the name "Blood Cemetery" for some grisly reason, but because of a famous family buried there. Many ghosts are claimed to be there. Countless paranormal investigators have visited this place and seen strange anomalies in recordings of sounds and photographs.
7. Paine House
Colonial America survives well in New England, both in terms of architecture and spirits still wandering there. Built by Francis Brayton in about the 1740s, the house is now a museum and historical institution in Coventry, Rhode Island. One of the many spirits wandering around is the spirit of a young girl. During the investigation carried out here, the vice president came across cases such as the rock chair moving on its own in the video.
6. Rutland Prison Camp
Abandoned places can be creepy, and this former prison camp is no exception. This camp was built in 1903 but was closed in 1934 with only a few buildings remaining standing, such as the underground cellar and the prison cell. Filled with strange noises and moving shadows, a nighttime visit to this place may not be very eerie. A ghost wandering around the ruins of the guardhouse is said to be the guard's wife.
5. College Building
You may think of it as more of an education, but it also gives you fear. The Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier opened in 1831 as a seminary before becoming a college in 1941. The most mysterious place on campus is probably the College Building, which is said to be haunted by a girl who was murdered there. He has a habit of playing the organ in the little church.
4. Captain Grant's 1754
There are many haunted lodges in the United States, and this lodge in Preston, Connecticut is no exception. Named after Captain William Grant, who lived here with his wife Mercy, the accommodation is said to house many spirits. The Adelaide room is believed to be the most active, with footsteps being heard and keys being moved. The place was featured in the extraordinary show Psychic Kids.
3. Elder Ballou Cemetery
Located in Cumberland, Rhode Island, the cemetery is one of the scariest among cemeteries with its crypt and old tombstones. The cemetery, which used to be a religious meeting place, is now extremely damaged. However, all kinds of supernatural events have been recorded here. Voices were heard, shadow shapes were seen, and UFOs were reported near this area.
2. SK Pierce's Mysterious Conservative Mansion
Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, and My Ghost Stories all captured footage of the 1875 mansion in Gardner, Massachusetts. It used to be the crown jewel of SK Pierce, but time has taken its toll on this place. It is said that many spirits haunt the mansion, some with good intentions but others not so much. Children were seen running around and items in the attic were moved. This was made worse when the previous owners no longer lived there.
1. The Lizzie Borden House
On August 4, 1892, this house in Fall River, Massachusetts, was the residence of Abby and Andrew Borden, two vicious murderers who were abusing the public. Andrew's sister, Lizzie, was convicted but later cleared of the murders. Now, his house is a boarding house and the most famous and mysterious place in New England. Guests say they saw a woman standing in the corner of their bed, and others say she touched them. This house has been filmed in many television shows and has become a must-see for ghost seekers.
