Post-flight quarantine requirements vary by state.

Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan closed its borders to everyone except citizens and people with a residence and work permit of the country. It also suspended e-visa and visa on arrival applications.

Only Azerbaijani citizens and those with a residence/work permit in Azerbaijan can travel from Turkey to Azerbaijan. There are no citizenship or residence permit restrictions for passengers who want to travel in the Azerbaijan-Turkey direction.

For direct flights to Nakhchivan, students who go to Nakhchivan for university education can be accepted to the flight if they present the acceptance certificate with the numbered number, stamp, wet signature and letterhead of the university they were accepted to.

United Arab Emirates

As of January 31, 2021, passengers arriving in Dubai from all countries must present a PCR test with a negative result taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. Citizens of the United Arab Emirates can get tested for Covid-19 at the point of arrival.

  • Since the United Arab Emirates government has not designated a laboratory for Turkey, passengers must obtain their COVID-19 certificate from an authorized laboratory in Turkey.
  • Travelers must take another COVID-19 test at destination if requested. If they get a test at the airport, they must maintain social isolation at their hotel or residence until they receive the test result. If the test result is positive, the traveler must isolate and follow Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
  • If the passenger's final destination is Dubai, he/she must complete the quarantine commitment form distributed in the cabin during the flight (to bear all quarantine and treatment costs) and submit this form to Dubai Health Authority staff upon arrival.
  • The passenger must have valid health insurance for use in the UAE. This health insurance should be able to cover the expenses incurred in case of a positive Covid-19 test. This rule includes all UAE nationals, residents, tourists entering or connecting from Dubai.
  • Dubai residence visa holders returning to Dubai must obtain return approval from the General Directorate of Residence and Foreign Relations (GDRFA).

Iraq

Iraq started to accept passengers from Turkey if some restrictions are observed. According to this;

- All guests flying to Erbil are required to undergo 14-day home quarantine. In addition, passengers who show symptoms on the plane or at the airports in all destinations are quarantined.

- Passengers traveling to Basra and Baghdad must present a PCR test certificate with a negative result taken at most 72 hours before the flight.

- Passengers traveling to Erbil and Sulaymaniyah Airport must present a PCR test certificate with a negative result taken at most 48 hours before the flight. In addition, upon arrival in Erbil, all passengers are required to take a PCR test by paying 50.00 USD or 60,000 IQD in cash.

- With exceptions, entry into the country from England, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Spain, Brazil, USA, India, South Africa, Australia, Netherlands, Japan and Zambia is prohibited. . Kazakhistan

Flights between Türkiye and Kazakhstan have resumed. The Kazakhstan government has published updated information for country entry and general health measures.
According to this information covering guests from all countries;
  • All passengers entering the country must have a PCR test with a negative result. There can be a maximum of 72 hours between the sample time and the time of entry into the country.
  • Test results in electronic form and hard copies are considered valid.
  • Express PCR tests are considered invalid.

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Rules Applied by Countries for International Flights

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus; It introduced rules for everyone entering the country as of December 7, 2020 until further notice. Accordingly, guests are required to present the negative PCR test, which was sampled at most 72 hours before the departure time of the flight, and must remain in quarantine for 7 days after entering the country. Guests will be subjected to PCR testing again at the end of quarantine. Passengers who do not have a negative test result will not be allowed into the country.

In addition, due to the mutated virus and increase in cases, passengers who have been in all African countries, the Netherlands, South Africa, Denmark, the United Kingdom and Brazil in the last 14 days will not be allowed into the country. There are exceptions to this rule

  • TRNC citizens
  • Persons who are students or will enroll in TRNC universities
  • Passengers with permanent residence permit in the country
  • Those who have permission to work and start a business in TRNC
  • People who bought a house in the country and those who rented a house
  • People who have spent at least 6 months in the country in the last year

They can log in by presenting their relevant documents. These passengers are required to remain in quarantine for 14 days after entry.

HES codes of passengers entering the country by air will be checked by the company that issued the ticket. Tickets cannot be issued to people who have contact with the HES code and/or have COVID-19 positive results.

PCR tests taken from TRNC in the last 3 days are valid for TRNC citizens who visit Turkey for a short time when returning to their country. These people are also subject to a 10-day central quarantine application upon entering the country.

The quarantine fee for the first person (spouse, child, sibling, etc.) who will stay in the same room has been determined as 3,050 TL, and the quarantine fee for the subsequent persons has been determined as 1,400 TL.

There must be a QR code on the negative PCR test result document taken when traveling directly from Turkey to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Passengers who do not have a QR code on their documents will not be allowed to enter the country.

PCR test documents will only be accepted in Turkish and English.

Guests between the ages of 0-5 will be exempt from PCR testing and quarantine processing fees.

All testing and quarantine procedures are charged for everyone, including citizens of the country. This article has three exceptions.

1. Patients and their companions who are referred to the Republic of Turkey for treatment by the decision of the health board

2. Those who are TRNC citizens and have undergraduate and graduate education abroad

3. Students studying for undergraduate and graduate studies in TRNC

Lebanon

Rules Applied by Countries for International Flights

There are some rules for entering Lebanon, which has reopened its doors for international travel.

All passengers are required to declare a negative Coronavirus test taken at most 96 hours before arrival and an official health certificate. Child passengers aged 12 and under are not included in this rule. All passengers, except military personnel, diplomat officers and members of international organizations, must have health insurance that can cover all costs of Covid-19 treatment during their stay in Lebanon before going to the country.

A Public Health Introduction Form must be filled in when entering the country. Additionally, the Lebanese Ministry of Health requires a PCR test at check-in for a fee of $100. Passengers who test positive must comply with the directives of the Lebanese Ministry of Health until they recover. If the health officials at the airport deem it necessary, a PCR test will be performed again after 72 hours, with the passenger paying the fee.

Children aged 12 and under, transit passengers and guests who will stay in the country for only 1 week are exempt from these testing stages at the entrance to Lebanon.

moldova

Rules Applied by Countries for International Flights

As of March 5, 2021, entry to Moldova has been opened under certain conditions.

The first requirement to enter the country is to declare a negative PCR test result for COVID-19 taken 72 hours before the flight. This report must be in Romanian, English or Russian.

Exceptions to this rule:

If a citizen of the Republic of Moldova cannot present a PCR test certificate with a negative result taken 72 hours before entering the country, people must fill out an epidemiological form independent of where they come from and isolate themselves for 14 days.

Uzbekistan

Rules Applied by Countries for International Flights

Uzbekistan flights started on September 4, 2020. Separate precautions were taken according to the guests coming from the countries divided according to 3 color types. Passengers who want to travel from Turkey to Uzbekistan, which is among the red type countries, must have a 14-day hotel reservation document and at least one of the work or residence permits.

In addition, for passengers to enter Uzbekistan

  • Having a first degree relative in Uzbekistan
  • Must have a residence permit issued by Uzbekistan
  • Will be in transit
  • Having a diplomatic passport
  • Have a PCR test at most 72 hours before the flight
  • They must declare the results of these tests at check-in.
  • In order to check the test results, they must obtain a Barcode Number and approval from the Ministry of Health website .

Passengers who have not been tested or whose test results exceed 72 hours are not allowed on flights. They must also quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
