Gazi Museum is the first place where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed in Samsun. This is a building founded by Jean Lonnis in 1902 as Mıntıka Palas Hotel. Samsun Archeology and Ethnography Museum
Samsun archaeological museum is a museum where artifacts from the Hittite, Hellenistic, Early Bronze, Roman and Ottoman periods are exhibited. Artifacts obtained during excavations in this region are exhibited here. The 19 May gallery within the museum was transferred to the Ministry of National Education under the name of Atatürk Museum.
The museum, which was opened in 1981, contains bronzes and coppers from the Roman period, kiln-dried earthenware artifacts, bones, bronze sculptures, skulls and surgical equipment from the Old Bronze period. In addition to these, there are many tools, clocks, manuscripts and qurans.
Samsun Honor Monument and Ataturk Park
