Get ready to step into the largest public collection of Marc Chagall’s art. Opened personally by the artist himself, Chagall created this space to host his 17 paintings that make up one of his most important works – the Biblical Message – imitating the texts of the Old Testament. Enjoy these permanent exhibitions and keep an eye out for temporary exhibitions showing different angles of the talented artist. There is also a concert hall inside the museum, featuring a stained glass window by the artist. Sometimes concerts are organised here. Enjoy the peaceful setting of the museum located in Cimiez, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with olive trees and flowers.
