Belvedere Palace Vienna - Austria

Belvedere Palace

The Belvedere Palace features not only one but two palaces, the Upper and Lower Belvedere separated by an extensive main garden situated over three terraces. This immense summer residence was built in the 18th century for the Prince and is famous for it's stunning Baroque architecture designed by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt. The modern day palace, turned into a museum, houses the world’s largest collection of Gustav Klimt including “The Kiss” and “Judith.” The walls also feature works by prominent Austritan artists and French Impressionists including Schiele, Kokoschka, Waldmüller, Renoir, Monet, and Van Gogh.
